ROSANNA BURTON was born in Hertfordshire England and raised there until she was ten, when she moved to France. Learning French was a big factor in leading her to study linguistics, the science behind language. For this reason in 2013 Rosanna moved to Scotland to study at the University of Edinburgh.
At the moment she is splitting her time between McGill and UQAM for a linguistics study she’s running.

Grace Golden Clayton was mourning the loss of her father when,
on Dec 1907, a terrible Mining Disaster happened that killed 361 men, 250 of them fathers, leaving 1,000 fatherless children.
Clayton suggested her pastor Robert Thomas Webb, honor all those fathers. So on on July 5, 1908,the first observance of a “Father’s Day” was held in Fairmont, W. Virginia, in the Williams Memorial Methodist Epis-copal Church South, now known as Central United Methodist Church.
