Brodie has been hooked on pipe music since seeing it on TV at the age of two – and practises his parade skills every day.

Brodie joined Drum Major John Matheson in Nairn, leading 204 pipers and drummers in front of thousands of people.

John said: “I noticed him the year before, so this time I invited him to join m

“Brodie did really well. He was shouting out the commands along with me.  I’m sure he’ll make a fine pipe major.”

Mum Emma, 28, and dad Jamie, 35, of Westhill, Inverness, have no idea where the obsession came from.

Emma said: “No one in the family plays the pipes or drums. But he heard pipe music when he was two and he started marching right away
