DONALD TRUMP plans to start building his £1billion main championship golf resort course in Aberdeenshire Scotland ON November 1ST. Trump claimed it will be the “best in the world”.

Plans for the Estate development, will include two courses, a hotel, 500 houses and 950 holiday homes.

The proposal has attracted opposition from environmentalists, with part of one course to be built within an area of sensitive sand dunes.

An Aberdeenshire Council committee initially rejected the application, before it was called in by the Scottish Government. Following a public inquiry, the Government gave its backing to the project last year.

A spokesman for the Trump Organization today confirmed the planned date to begin work, pending final approval from the council.

He said the organization was also seeking permission to add four privately-owned homes and two plots of land to the project.

Aberdeenshire Council is due to consider this proposal later in the year.
