Eating Again?

August 23, 2009

When my sister Ann visited us from Vancouver she brought laughter and sunshine into our home. My children aged ten to nineteen years of age, always enjoyed having their fun loving Aunt around.
Making herself a cup of tea one afternoon, Ann peered into the refrigerator looking for milk. She was startled by a voice behind her saying “Are you eating again?”
She jumped back quickly closing the fridge door on her hand. In an excited voice she said;
“Oh! NO!! No!! I’m not eating anything! No!”
Her teenaged nephew Gordon looked at her in surprise;
“Oh, Auntie Ann, I meant the cat.”
Crimson faces met our inquiries.
