Gaelic promoted at university 2009-07-15

The University of Glasgow has appointed a Gaelic language officer, the first post of its kind in Scotland. The aim of the role will be to raise the profile of Gaelic throughout the university and provide more access to language classes and cultural events. Fiona Dunn, 26, has taken up the two-year post, funded by agencies including the Scottish Funding Council.
