Gaelic Lesson with Suzanne Beaton
A house without a cat, dog, or children is a house without happiness or laughter.”
Taigh gun chat, gun chu, gun chlann; taigh gun ghean, gun ghaire.
( tie gun KH’AT, gun KH’OO, gun KH’LOWN; tie gun GEN, gun GAIR
(GEN as in “again”; GAIR as in “scare”. And the “KH” is the only way I can think of how to transcribe the throaty sound you hear at the end of “loch” (aka the hissing cat/stompy teenager).
