Sarah has a background as a highland dancer and she is an experienced Celtic fiddle teacher – teaching all levels and ages
Sarah is also the director of the Siamsa Choir
BIO: Halifaxborn singer/ songwriter/ story teller Dan MacKinnon continues to convey his “finely crafted songs” to audiences through his yearly tours in theUKand performances in and around the Maritimes.
You may well remember him from the “The Don Messer Show” and “Singalong Jubilee”
and more recently The Halifax Farmer’s Market – Saturday morning where he busked for 13 years until his Big Break with his fifth recording, “Fields of Dreams and Glory”
Dan just completed a three day show inHalifax
Performing in the musical, “If I Were a Blackbird” at theMaritimeMuseumof the Atlantic and he is here inMontrealto perform, tonight with Sarah Burnell and the Siamsa Choir .
