Sir William Wallace

August 4, 2009

Guardian of Scotland

How Wallace fought for Scotland, left the name of Wallace to be found. Like a wild flower, all over his dear Country … WORDSWORTH

Point of View
It is thought Scots viewed William Wallace as the savior of Scotland from the domination of the British. The named him “Braveheart”.
On the other hand, the British viewed him as a coldhearted murderer who ethnically cleansed the North Border area allowing for Scottish settlers to inhabit it.
