First Inventor Centre
Next time you’re in Scotland try and pay a visit to Irvine Ayrshire and investigate the “Big Idea”, billed as being the world’s first inventor centre. The Centre is located at Irvine’s Harbourside on a small island and was officially opened just two or three years ago.
A great day can be experienced viewing the 135 interactive displays, enjoy a video presentation of all the big bangs since time began from exploding stars to world wars, choose your free inventor kit and make your own working model. Every visitor receives a unique ibutton that knows your name and lets you print a poster of everything you have seen and done at the “Big Idea”.
Visit the Magic Library and Puppet Theatre; they commemorate the great achievements of Nobel Prize winners.
